You totally had me rolling reading that list :) Nesting at it's finest! You sound really organized and it sounds like you are cranking through your To-Dos though. Don't forget you can just sit and watch a movie, read a good book, and enjoy some peace and quiet while you can, too.
ReplyDeleteBut no matter how prepared you think you are- when you bring that little bundle home it will rock your world. I thought I had LOTs of experience with babies until we brought Brady home, and his first clothing and diaper change I about had a panic attack! We just hovered over him staring and neurotically checking him to make sure he was OK. I was so nervous and felt like I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. But I eventually got the hang of it and you will too, I realized they don't break, a little crying won't kill them, and you can't spoil a baby! But I have also learned not to worry so much about the "domestic" stuff, it'll get done when it gets done, just slow down and enjoy your time with BB :)
Aw Thanks Camille! I have no doubt that doesn't matter what i do I completely realize all will change the second I bring Baby Bird home which is partially why I am running around in the first place. Accepting that it wont be perfect-- yet will in it own way is what I am working on at the moment. Thank goodness my partner in crime(Barty) is quite the domestic one. I have to work a lil harder at it. But there are babies being born on dirt floors in mud hutches right now so I think we can do this! Love you and thanks for advice and giggles- both appreciated.
ReplyDeleteWho would have every thought that you could be so organized?
ReplyDeleteThat's some scary poop, right there.
I'm betting on a girl.
I am also available to come down and help in any way. I can do it all...except change diapers and breast feed.
Oh I know you can Mickey- and really a girl huh? Interesting. I have no clue anymore. I know you can help with babies and all, but may have some questions more on our usual geeky talk! Expect a usually random email with lots of question. Yes I have baby on the brain, but the other half never stops going as well! Miss ya!
